PRINCIPAL’S CORNER
We thank you all for your cooperation with arrival and dismissal. Plans continue to go smoothly and we are happy to report that all students have been inside the school building by 8:38 AM and the buses have been departing Chatterton by 3:05 PM! This is due to everyone working together as a community! Way to go!
Our main office staff has been receiving a large number of changes to dismissal each day. We ask that all changes to dismissal be submitted to the teacher in writing each morning. All emergency calls for changes to dismissal must be received by 2:30 PM. We cannot accept changes to dismissal procedures after 2:30 PM. This is to ensure adequate time to notify the child and the classroom teacher prior to dismissal beginning.
Open House last week was a great success! We look forward to hosting sessions for families in Grades K-3 this week. Please see below for times for teachers, special area teachers and support staff.

The PTA ” Welcome Back Ice Cream Truck” event, which took place on September 17th, was a huge success.
We were so excited to kick off the year in such a “sweet” way.
Please consider volunteering any time or service to the Chatterton PTA. We are always looking to grow as a community with our families and school. Attached you will find a list of the committees with an explanation of each and a corresponding sign-up form.
They were also included in your child’s placement packets and are worth exploring.
